Finding Your Powerful "Why" Through the Love for Your Dog.

Have you ever wondered what drives you to do the things you do?

What motivates you to get out of bed every morning and pursue your dreams?

Finding your powerful "why" is essential for creating a fulfilling and purpose-driven life. And sometimes, that "why" can be found in the unconditional love and companionship of our furry friends, like our beloved dogs.

My Powerful “WHY” came to me when I got Indy.

The widely know training methods with consequence based training just felt wrong to me and I wanted to find a better way to teach her the skills she would need. She is a very sensitive soul and I knew that traditional training was going to break our relationship and I wasn’t about to let that happen. I searched the internet and happened to find Absolute Dogs and my world changed forever. Their happy, upbeat, positive attitude was a bit over the top at first but is highly effective to get me motivated to continue to work past the learning curve of games based training. Boy am I ever happy I did because I know that I have provided Indy with a way to communicate with me while she grows her skills to handle the “real world”.

She has her struggles with other dogs and more recently bugs (wasps) are causing her some anxiety but she has ways to communicate her discomfort to me and I can support her while we grow her skills to learn how to overcome her anxiety and overwhelm.

The best part is while we train we get to strengthen our relationship and have fun!

The Unbreakable Bond

Dogs have a unique ability to touch our hearts and bring immense joy into our lives. They offer unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and a sense of companionship that is hard to find elsewhere. Our dogs become an integral part of our families, and their presence can have a profound impact on our overall well-being.

Teaching Us Unconditional Love

One of the most remarkable qualities of dogs is their ability to love unconditionally. They don't judge us based on our flaws or mistakes; instead, they accept us for who we are, flaws and all. This unconditional love teaches us the importance of accepting ourselves and others, fostering a sense of compassion and empathy that extends beyond our relationship with our furry friends.

Inspiring Responsibility and Commitment

Owning a dog comes with great responsibility. From ensuring they are well-fed and exercised to providing them with a safe and loving environment, dogs rely on us for their care. This responsibility teaches us the value of commitment and consistency. It reminds us that our actions have a direct impact on the well-being of those we love, motivating us to show up and be the best version of ourselves.

Finding Purpose and Meaning

Our dogs often become our source of purpose and meaning. They rely on us for their almost everything, giving us a sense of responsibility and a reason to strive for something greater. Whether it's training them, providing them with a loving home, or simply being there for them, our dogs give us a sense of purpose that goes beyond ourselves.

Embracing Joy and Living in the Present

Dogs have an incredible ability to live in the present moment. They find joy in the simplest of things, reminding us to appreciate the little moments in life. Their playful nature and infectious enthusiasm inspire us to let go of worries and stress, embracing the present moment and finding happiness in the here and now.

Your Dog as Your Motivational Force

When you tap into the love and connection you have with your dog, you can discover a powerful "why" that drives you to create positive change in your life. Your dog can be your motivational force, reminding you of the importance of love, responsibility, and living a purpose-driven life.

So, the next time you look into your dog's eyes, take a moment to reflect on the profound impact they have on your life. Allow their love and companionship to inspire you to find your powerful "why" and pursue your dreams with unwavering determination.
